Rihanna + Dior | StyleChile6

Rihanna + Dior | StyleChile1I first wrote about Dior’s video series—a web documentary featuring Marion Cotillard—back in October, 2012. At that time, the famed French fashion house was releasing a seven-series film highlighting the house’s most iconic looks. Two years later, Dior is still creating multi-series productions—the latest is a film campaign entitled Secret Garden—and breaking boundaries while doing so: the last installment of Secret Garden has over nine million hits on YouTube; and recently Dior has announced that fashion icon and pop sensation Rihanna will star in the next and fourth installment, the first black woman to represent the brand in its 70-year history!

Rihanna for Dior’s film and print campaign was shot last week by Steven Klein at Versailles, and will debut this spring. Check out the gallery below for behind-the-scenes pics of the shoot, and pictures of Rihanna—pretty in pink at Dior’s pre-spring/summer 2015 show and in red at Dior’s Fall 2014 show. Congrats Rihanna and cheers to Dior for betting on black!
