As promised, here’s an updated version of the outfit featured in last week’s post, So Long Summer . . . This was an easy update, I simply added my favorite jacket, a buttery lambskin leather swath of deliciousness from Catherine Malandrino.
Fall’s my absolute favorite time of year. I can’t get enough of fall clothes; I love the many opportunities to layer; and the season reminds of the beginning of the school year, unpacking boxes, settling into dorm rooms, cross-country season, back-to-school outfits, seeing friends after a long summer, and fresh starts in general.
Nothing says hello fall like saying goodbye to beautiful summer flowers and a crisp fall weekend spent enjoying the great outdoors. These photos are from this past weekend’s visit to the farmer’s market in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square. I was so enthralled with the colorful bounty, that I forgot to get the contact information for the Amish farming family that so graciously allowed me to use their beautiful stand as the backdrop for these photos. I will update this post to add their information soon.Skirt is by BCBG and is unfortunately sold out, but the same skirt is available in red and yellow. Leather jacket by Catherine Malandrino, sold out, but this Balmain option is similar; Bag by Zara; Sunnies by Tom Ford from Blink; Rings by Lorraine West for Tasha West Jewelry. Lipstick: Fiery by Stila, because Beso is sold out and it doesn’t look like Stila is going to re-stock, ever.
