Wishing our dear readers love, light and laughter for the holidays–starting with Santa stuntin’ in  the latest from some of our favorite designers. Two key observations about Santa looks: he loves casual and luxurious fashion-forward clothing, bordering on the avant garde–and all of which are seasonally inappropriate for the North Pole; and, his looks reinforce that sizes of our waistlines be damned, we can all look fab in the latest designer gear so long as we style it just right (and lay off the sugary carbonated beverages like the one in Santa’s hand).

A few style points: Santa’s wearing a lot of black and white (including some graphic black and white)–you should too, if you aren’t already! Santa’s even rocking an oversized coat of the blanket variety–check out our previous post on this very au courant look. Santa’s also into the “normcore” look–one we should all embrace, for comfort’s (and fashion’s) sake. Each of Saint Nick’s outfits are available in stores, unfortunately, as GQ points out, not in Santa sizes though. Check out KK’s (that’s Kris Kringle to you, not Kim Kardashian) #00td posts in the slide above. I’m digging the outfits by Alexander Wang, obvi, and Marni. Share your favorite designer and Saint Nick’s best look in the comments section. Happy Holidays!
